Over 50 Christmas trees will transform St Mary Redcliffe Church for the first weekend of December.

The welcome return of Treefest (following an online display in 2020) will see a huge variety of uniquely decorated trees adorning the beautiful gothic church.

The trees on display are a rich mixture of real and artificial, decked out in recycled materials, handmade pompoms and beautiful garlands.

A musical programme has been planned to accompany the visual splendour of the occasion. THE GREAT WESTERN CHORUS WILL BE APPEARING ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 3RD AT  approx 15.00 to16.00.

Visitors will be treated to music from groups including Steamship singers with Nightingale Valley Singers & Arnos Vocale, The Hotwell Howlers, Storm Force 10, Bristol Folk Singers, iSax, Gypsy’s Kiss, Oldland Brass Ensemble, Great Western Chorus and the Salvation Army Band.

The event is free to attend, but visitors are asked to donate to this year’s nominated charities,  community-led mental health charity Changes Bristol and St Mary Redcliffe community projects.

Treefest is at St Mary Redcliffe Church, from Thursday December 2-5. More information can be found at
